Our Instructors have been carefully chosen based on their area of expertise, their passion for the service industry and their ability to execute superior training. Each instructor has formative training including a minimum of 10 years experience in their chosen field. Our Instructors undergo regularly scheduled workshops with The Coterie Of Caribbean Butlers to ensure they deliver training that is uniformed and current which translates to successful graduates.
MICKLYN LIGHTBOURNE
President & Cheif Facilitator
Micklyn Lightbourne is President and Cheif Facilitator at The Coterie Of Caribbean Butlers (COCB) and Full Member of The Guild Of Professional English Butlers (London). He began his career in the hospitality industry more than twenty five years ago, serving in almost every frontline capacity including that of a Butler for more than 12 years. Todate he holds a Cacique award 2010/2011, a distinction awarded only to the best in the industry, A Certified Hospitality Instructor credentials from American Hotel and Lodging and a Standards Assessor (IVQ) certification from City & Guild's.
STEPHANIE LIGHTBOURNE
Vice President & Operations Executive
Stephanie Lightbourne brings 25 plus years experince in Administration with more than10 plus years specifically in Hospitality Administration, her portfolio includes but is not limited to: the effective management of the institute as well as the director for the Domestic Staffing division. A trained Butler, certified Guest Serive Agent and Customer Service Instructor, she is called on from time to time to assist with training in any of these areas.
DAWSON BULLARD
Sales & Marketing Executive
Dawson Bullard is our Marketing and Recruitment executive, with more than twelve years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Bullard understands what is required to build a solid foundation for a career in fromtline hospitality. As a scout, he identifies and engages prospects with a natural ability to perform in the Tourism and Hospitality industry anywhere anytime. Upon assesment, students are registrated and become equipped to train for a rewarding career.
CECIL NEWRY
Senior Butler Trainer Food & Beverage Specialist
Cecil Newry has a solid history of success in building high energy service and culinary teams to ensure optium guest experience. He has 9 years of VIP Butler experience, servicing royalty, celebrities and dignitaries. Cecil also has 7 years of service-focused Restaurant Management experiene with strong expertise in Front and Back of the House Operations to establish a welcoming, energetic dining atmosphere. Cecil holds a degree in business management with a wealth of experiene in Font Ofice/Concierge protocols having started his Hospitality career in front office.
Chrisnell Cooper
Housekeeping Instructor
Ms. Cooper holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management and three years experience as a Housekeeping Manager. A former student of the Coterie Of Caribbean Butlers, upon completion of becoming a certified Butler, Ms. Cooper was fast tracked into a rewarding career in Hospitality at the world famous Atlantis Resort upon the opening of it's newest Tower "The Cove". Ms. Cooper is extremely hands on and eninteractive in the classroom, incorporating all the latest trends in Rooms Division training while mainting industry standards.
Petulla Russell
Guest Service Agent Instructor
Ms. Petula Russell holds a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, her speciality "Front Office". Ms. Russell enjoys teaching and therefore focuses on equipping others for a strong career in frontline hospitality. Students leave the class room empowered and knowledgable to meet the demands of world travellers and novice alike.
